Wavy Planet's journey into DJing began about seven months ago when they received a controller for their birthday. After diving into the world of DJing with the Level Up 50 course with Hapa in January, their passion for curating vibes and sharing music blossomed. Now, they're taking their skills to the next level with in-person courses, learning Rekordbox, and mastering local club gear.

Music is DJ Wavy Planet's passion, and they love discovering new tracks, making playlists, and sharing music with others. Their journey into DJing began when they found a flyer for The DJ Coach classes inside their Hercules Inpulse 500 controller and has continued to progress after completing the Level Up 50 with the January team! 

By day, DJ Wavy Planet is a registered nurse, but their dream is to DJ on weekends at local bars, clubs, and private events.

I personally remember meeting Wavy Planet at our first day of L50 January.  For some odd reason, my lip started bleeding...pretty badly.  As I tried to continue to teach through it, Wavy Planet offered advice and shared that they were a nurse - and it worked!  Never hurts to have a trained medical professional in your life!

Their first official gig is scheduled for May 22 at a backyard party in Austin, TX, featuring Femme Rock Music School students.
